thinking of purchasing a 05 stratus

Default thinking of purchasing a 05 stratus

I found a 05 stratus 2.4 L 4 cylinder and I was looking through the forum reading and I wanted to know what you guys could tell me about this car?

its a stratus sxt 2.4L with 89,200 and the guy is offering to sell it at $4700

its below the blue book vaule and I'm a complete newb to dodges so I have no idea if this is a good deal or not

Don't do it. You'll regret it. Keep shopping for something that's proven to be more reliable, less problematic.

Is this a DOHC 2.4l or SOHC 2.4l? Crucial information.
How many doors does it have?

Doesn't matter which version, both are going to be nothing but problems for as long as you own the car.

A little maintenance goes a long way
I cant speak for the DOHC (sedan) because I dont have one, but the SOHC has treated me (and a few others I have met) very well.

maybe the guy's looking at a 2.7 stratus. Now that's top quality!!!

Or maybe he's looking at a 2.4 Stratus like he specifically mentioned in the original post.
