Default Turns over, won't start.

My 98 2.5l auto will turn over but won't start. I started the vehicle and it was fine. I went back into the house, came out 20 min later and it had quit. Tried to start back up and it would just turn over and over but not start. Changed spark plugs a while back and fuel pump primes...

Were you able to pull / check for any codes? If you don't have a OBD scanner take it to auto zone or advanced auto they can pull the codes and post back here.

This is the one I own.. Love it

P0403 is the only code but would that make it not start?

No bus would mean a sensor or a module has take the bus system down, and that will cause a no start problem. Check your fuses and the ASD relay. The 2.5 has had problems with the dist.

Ok, all fuses and relays are good. I replaced the distributor cap, rotor and all spark plug wires. I am getting good spark and fuel. Car still will turn over but won't fire. It sounds like it is almost about to start up but won't. I checked the cam shaft sensor and it is good. I checked the crankshaft sensor and it is also good. The the only thing was the paper spacer was not on the end of the crankshaft sensor...would that make it not fire up? Timing belt was fine and timing was on. I really don't have anymore money to put into it...any ideas (other than taking it to a dealer)?

Thanks.

Remove the spark plugs and either clean them or replace them. They maybe soak with gas now and that is why it almost wants to start.
