Coolant drains.
99 ES with 2.5L. What master mind designed the cooling system on this car?
You have to be a contorsionist to replace the thermostat. I found that if you use a small dab of weather strip cement on the O ring it will keep the thermostat from falling out when you put the housing back. The lower radiator hose is just as difficult to replace because you cant get to the clamp. The radiator drain plug is hidden and you need a 14MM socket on a universal joint to unscrew the plug. That's if you can find it without using a lift. There is no mention of an engine coolant drain plug in the service manual. Perhaps that is why I can't find it.
