Default 98 Stratus odd Fuel delivery problem

I am a mechanic at a local shop and want to make sure I am not missing something that Dodge guys know about. 98 Stratus with a 2.5L towed into shop today. No fuel pressure at rail. Checked power and grounds at fuel pump, all good. Replace fuel pump and filter, still no pressure. I can hear pump working. After getting frustrated, I looked for physical damage to line, None found. Here is where it gets interesting. I disconnected fuel line at passenger side undercarriage. I have fuel pressure ther. About 3 ft up at the rail, ZERO. Any known defects with the portion of line from under car to rail? Thanks for any help

Welcome to DF
What is the fuel pressure and flow going into the fuel rail? The fuel lines haven't been a problem. Remove the line from the fuel rail and at the fuel filter. Blow air thru the line.

I am pumping 56psi at the lower connection and zero at the rail. And, I can't blow air thru line, tried but no go. Probably going to replace line today.

Yep. If you can't get air through it, fuel sure isn't going to make it. Something may have kicked up and crimped the line?

I have been going nuts lately. Car died driving down the road. Same thing happened 4 years ago and it was the distributor. So I put in new distributor, but no gas is getting to fuel rail. I swapped out fuel pump relay with a/c relay and that made no difference. I checked all fuses in the car and none were blown. Pump makes no noise when ignition is on. I pulled the harness apart under the back seat and found 7 pins. I dont know which two power the pump. I hate to remove the tank just to find out that the pump is not getting power. I have the dodge shop manual but that information is not anywhere in the manual.

I read that there is an automatic shutoff switch in the trunk somewhere. Is it possible that it has rusted or failed? I have no idea where it is located?
