Default Blowing blue smoke out of my exhaust

There's a little problem with my 2001 stratus es. Sometimes when at a dead stop if i hit the gas blue smoke comes out of the exhaust. Now i know its just my engine burning oil, but is there anything i can do like buy a certain kind of oil to make it so my car stop blowing the smoke? thanks

Welcome to DF
It could be valve seals or the rings on the pistons. How often does it blow out blue smoke?

It maybe the valve seals. You can try STP oil treatment if they still sell it.
