Exclamation Electrical emergency!!!

I got a huge short today after trying to install an aftermarket radio and i need some help figuring out how to fix it...my illuminators and sunroof dont work at all and my lock/unlock switch and head/tail lights only works when car is on and/or started...any help would be much appreciated

Did you disconnect the battery when you were installing the radio? I would remove the radio and inspect all your wires and trace back on your installation.

I would focus on the orange/white Illumination wire on the new radio. It's function is to make the radio dim it's display and possibly even illuminate extra controls (varies by radio). You can safely leave it disconnected if you don't mind the radio being bright at night. You'll probably have to look for the fuse that controls interior lighting and replace that.

@ master tech: i did disconnect the negative before install...i went back and checked everything and even re-installed the factory radio...that didnt seem to help so i went to the fuse box and voila, a couple fuses blew and i just replaced them...problem solved...thanks again for your help guys
