Crazy electrical activity and gas problems 2005 dodge status
Check this out...i hope someone can help
I took a trip to chattanooga which is only one hundred miles from where i live...there were no problems on the drive down...while i was there i stopped at a park and opened my trunk, the gas hand dropped to empty (although i had 3/4 a tank left), my radio and speedometer lights began to flicker, the emergency lights were showing dimly, then the car started putting and stalled out...i tried to restart it but it acted as if there was no gas...after about 30min it started the gas hand was back where it was suppose to be, then i mashed the brake to put the car in reverse, it putted and the gas hand went back to empty and it cut off again...at this time if i turned on the lights they did fine, but the blinkers were blinking extremely fast like the bulbs were gonna burn out...took it to autozone and the engine check came back as computer problems......im going to the dealer today, but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem...I have put a new fuel pump on about a year ago, tune up and oil change is up to date and always done on time...any Idea?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to DF
My guess for the lights flicking maybe charging system or battery. But fuel gauge, did you check the fuel rail for gas when you turn the key on? I have seen the seen the sock or pick up tube on the fuel pump module get plugged and cause no fuel to the fuel rail. Keep us posted.
