Default Really need help!

Hello all, Im gonna make this short and sweet. I have a 2004 dodge stratus R/t. The motor recently blew from the faulty oil pump issue. I went ahead and decided to Swap another motor in, but this motor was from the 2.7 chrysler sebring. Everything plugged up fine. Go to start the car and its not starting. My guess is that since im still running the factory R/t Computer maybe it needs a reflash?? Wish i would have gotten the donor car computer maybe i wouldnt have this issue. Any help would be great. Im about to go over the car one more time to make sure nothing is wrong and to present any more info that could help determine the cause of this issue. Thanks for your help

Welcome to DF
Was the motor you installed a 2004 too? If it not the same year, you could have problems with the flex plate and some of the sensors. Did you use any of the other engine parts off the motor that you removed?

The motor was from a 2004 Chrysler. It's the same 2.7 engine. I didn't do the swap, but I'm wishing I did. I understand the basics of what these cars need to start. Spark, fuel, and the crank and cam sensors working appropriately. I'm gonna go over all of these aspects later today and keep u updated. I understand that if fuel is not getting to it then it could be the pump, relay, or filter. As far as spark it could be a numerous amount of things. Coil packs, fouled plugs, and I'm not sure what else. If u could help me with the spark part I would greatly appreciate it.

well, if you have a generic scanner, see if it pick up and RPM signal as u crank, it should be like 100-300RPM while cranking.
