2000 2.0 won't start - not a starter problem
When we put the key in and turn it to start, nothing happens. no click, no whirr, no clunk... starter and solenoid are good, everything works in 'on' position, not a battery issue since we just put a new one in a few months ago, and the car ran fine the last time it was parked (minus its occasional tranny slip problem). We can't figure out what could be the problem... would it be an ignition module? Relays and fuses are also working just fine.

Try using either a DVOM or a 12 volt test light and go to the starter, one do you have 12 volts at the battery wire, two do you have 12 volts at the ignition wire when turning the key on to start. I would also start checking the fuses too with a 12 volt test light.
