Default 2002 Stratus Door Panel

I have a 2002 Stratus Sedan (2.7) and the inside handle for the door panel is broken. So far the only way I have found to replace it is to go to a parts yard and get an entier door panel. Anyone know of a shop that sells a replacement? Any replacement...doesn't even have to match the car. The door panel is in realy good shape so I would hate to replace it.

Well....search worked and it seems like this has been an issue before. Guess I will start hitting up parts yards for a new door panel.

Call one of your local body shops. They generally have knowledge of suppliers that sell this kind of part.

Have a friend in the biz for about 20 years and he referred me to a shop where they can weld plastic. Only problem, it cost more than a door panel at the junk yard. I found one that had the plastic in it and am thinking of getting it despite the fact that its roached.....maybe can clean up nice.

It hurts to say this but the dealership might be the only choice if you cant find it at a salvage yard.

No idea what that means but if you are saying that the inside plastic can be bought seperately I think I might have not communicated it correctly. It's not the lever for the door, it's literally the plastic piece that you grab to close it on the inside. This is also the plastic that the window switch is mounted to.

On another note, I just glued the crap out of it. It doesn't look good but the rest of the door panel is fine so I didn't want to trash it. It has been working fine for a few days now. If it breaks...maybe I will just carve one out of wood.
