when it rains i get a lot of water in the spare tire compartment beneath the spare. how would i get in?

 

is it just the tire area getting wet is carpet dry?,get under back of car make sure all the joint seals are still intact(can reseal with silicone/sealer) , and all the plugs are still tight

 

i think its leaking in from above somewhere. it will rain over night, then have water in it before i even drive it. possible weather seal somewhere?

 

It could be the seal for the trunk or the tail light seals.

 

i had my rear antenna leak there.. water or dew i suppose would go down around seal and travel down wire to trunk.. was messy.. had to put cardboard in there and see where it was coming from.. it was very dry when i looked so had to be on sides or under..
