2002 Stratus no heat

I just tried the heat on my 2002 stratus 2.4 engine and it seems as though the air condition is still on. I turned the **** to red but I still get cold air. Can someone lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your help. Jack

Have you checked the cooling system? Could have an open thermostat or the control head in the car. Did you know if the doors move by cables?
