it seems to do it mostly within the first 15 minutes or so of starting the car cold. the belt has been squealing on cold starts for a bit now, and if i push on the belt behind the PS pump is seems pretty loose, yet by the alternator it feels tight. PS fluid is good. just get a new belt and go from there?

 

I agree too, try a new fan belt.
