Check to see if air is getting through the radiator. Don't know if it's applicable but when we used to ride ATV's the radiator fins would get clogged with mud. Maybe something other than mud in your case but it sounds like no air is getting through. Could be bugs...grass....anything. I would definitely check it really good.
The coolant starts to boil in the reservoir and starts to steam outt out from the coolant reservoir overflow.. it starts to do this when it reaches normal temperature.. i have tried changing the cap! and changing the thermostat!!!!i have also tried flushing the coolant and letting the air out from the bleeder on the thermostat housing.!! it still does the same thing dont know waht else to do?? what else could it be??
My engine was overheating a little and the coolant was boiling too. It came out to be that my coolant reservoir is leaking and it doesn't hold the presure needed. I have dodge stratus sxt 2004 2.7L.
