Angry cam sensor help please

our car has been giving us issues on and off. when i turn the car on for the first time during the day it has a hard time accelerating past 2000 RPMs...it jerks and bucks and i have to let go of the gass to let the RPMs drop back and accelerate VERY slowly...most days im able to shut the car off wait 2-5 mins and turn it back on and its fine. im getting a code of PO344 and we already had the sensor replaced. i do not have the money for the mechanic to charge me 100.00 everytime he looks at it as he has already charged us for the cam sensor replacement and it didnt correct the issue. PLEASE HELP

Default Cam Shaft Sensor PO344 error code

If you don't get a response try doing a google search. Always be sure to list your engine size, year, make & model. I know on the 2.5L you have to replace the whole distributor. New distributors will vary in price but mine was $252 at O'Riely Auto Parts. Good luck!

Default Cam shaft position sensor

Hi,
I had a Cam shaft sensor problem.
The problem was with the electric circuit, may be you can get it checked?

Default Cost of changing the cam shaft position sensor

It cost me $83 total, including the sensor.
The mechanic who repaired it said, 2 of the wires were bad. Which was causing the problem. The sensor was already replaced when I got the car.
After the change, when I was going around 60 MPH I felt slight hesitation in the engine, I think I need to get other wires and timing belt checked!
