As I said in the PM, it really sounds like the blower motor...and it is the same blower motor that blows heat. So if it quits working change everything to heat, if it is still not working, then it is your blower motor, not compressor. The compressor is under the hood and is belt driven, only the clutch on it is electric. Anyway, can you describe better where this wire is? Is it at the switch panel under the radio, or at the blower motor under the dash on the passenger side like behind the glove box? Does the blower (when it is infact working) work at all speeds or does it seem to only work on like high or something?? Cuz if it is not working on all speeds, there is a VERY common problem on these cars and is an easy fix. But is a $50 part

Ok... well i have tried the changing it to heat thing before when it goes out and no it doesnt work at all on either heat or AC when it goes out.but yes it is under the dash on the passenger side behind the glove box. my moms boyfriend looked up under there one day when it had infact went out and pushed that wire and it came back on then when he let go of it went off it seemed to be loose and he said he needed to put electrical tape around it because some of the wire was bare. we did not have any electrical tape but he wire tied that wire up to where it was coming on and it has seemed to keep it working for the biggest majority of the time but it still goes off from time to time (like today infact it went off 4 times and just came back on when my passenger did this ->) but if u take ur foot and push up under the dash it will come back on. but sometimes it will come back on when you dont do that which idk and i may be wrong but it sounds and seems like that wire isnt getting a good connection or something. but yes it does work on all speeds when it is working. before now i would have taken it to my machanic a long time about but he moved. and since my boyfriend is ignorant when it comes to cars my moms boyfriend is the best i got to fix it for cheap. thank you for all your help and sorry if i have confused youll to no ends but i really dont know how else to explain it if u have questions ask them b/c i may be able to answer them about what it is doing.

Unless your mom's b/f knows how to pull the plug apart and set the wire back into the pin and crimp it good and slide i back into the plug and put the plug back together, I'd ust run to the junk hard and get a whole new plug. Cut the wires back at least 6 inches from the plug from the junk yard and cut the wires on your car only an inch or two back from the plug...should leave plenty to twist up and cover with tape or heat shrink (heat shrink is best if you have the right stuff to use it.) Just out of curiousity, I'm sure it won't be that lucky, but would you happen to live anywhere near Flint, Michigan? If so, I'd be more than happy to help you.
