my 2000 stratus 2.5 v6 died on the road, got it home thought it was the fuel pump but after testing fuel pump worked fine, after further testing I had voltage to the fuel pump for 1 second when the key was cycled then nothing. Checked fuses and relays all good. On the asd block, I had power to the 30 terminal and 86 terminal with no key on. Then I lost power to the asd block and getting no voltage to fuel pump circuit, the theft light stays on and odometer displays "no bus". I am totally lost. Anyone got any suggestions?

 

Try another key if you have one. Sounds like the ASD is shutting down the fuel pump. Bad key, or a spare with no chip in it will let the car run for 3 seconds before shutting down.

There is also a time-out period where if you keep trying a bad key, it will lock down completely for 15 minutes.

You may need to take it to a dealer if the reader or computer component is failed.
