How in the heck do you re-mount the jack in the trunk of a 1997 Stratus? It's my wife's car and I only took the jack out once and can't figure it out. Does anyone have a photo or diagram more specific than the one on the tire cover?

I can see the two "prongs" closest to the rear of the car will fit into the base of the jack, but what about the top of the jack? If you expand the jack to the point that the top contacts the other end of the mount in the trunk, the bolt will not fit into the slot.
