Default 2002 Startus Coupe SXT Issues

Alright Ive got two quick questions i need a little help with.

One being this model Stratus is the Mitsubishi build is their any cheap blacked out headlights or way to do it yourself without dropping a load of cash or even a basic replacement being mine and getting pretty rough and the restoration kits suck.

Two when I start my car it tends to have a high pitch squeal for a short time.(worse when its cold) I assume its a slipping belt but don't wanna go sinking money into it and find out its a failing pump or a just my tension pulley. Has annoy one experienced this and what was your results.

Keep in mind I'm only 18 and just started college so a slight budget.

Restoration kit usually work pretty well for me, they last a year or 2. Maybe you are not using it correctly?
Just spray some soapy water on the belt, if it stop the squealing, you probably just need a belt.
Knowing what size engine you have would help too!
