01 r/t 3.0
Hey everyone,
I have a 01 R/T 3.0 with a few issues.
1) it idles low( used to be only when I turned on heat/ac now it's constant)
2) it dies from low idle at times and sometimes, it even losses power completely! To where I cannot start it unless I wait a few minutes. Im don't know if this is a short caused by the remote starts toggle switch recently being broken. Possible?
3) engine check light goes on and off and after losing power it resets it's self before I can pull the codes.
If you could help send me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated thanks for reading

if there are any codes they should still be there, could possibly be toggle switch depending on how it was wired ,have you checked for any vacuum leaks I would first try cleaning the throttle body up with some throttle body cleaner( or carburetor spray if they still make it ) then try cleaning idle air control valve you can find a few hints on how to clean it by using search link above for Stratus idle control i'm not to familiar with coupe
