Has anyone experienced problems with the Compass/Temp Gauge in a 2001 R/T or know how to troubleshoot? I have checked the fuses. Not sure what to do next?

 

does it light up, or anything?

 

No lights, no signs of life.

 

and all of the fuses are ok?

 

Yes, I checked all the fuses.

 

i would guess that either the screen has gone bad, or if youre lucky, something could have come unplugged. you are the first person who i have heard with this issue

 

OK, thanks for your feedback. I was hoping to not have to pull apart the dash...

 

im not even sure how to get to that stuff. if you do it, let me know, as i think that my center speaker there is going bad

 

Just a thought... over the weekend my daughter was messing around and the ON/OF button on the Compass/Temp gauge got jammed a little. Could be something related to this, prob'ly not quite as simple, but you might start by checking... if not the button itself, maybe the wiring to the button.
