Default speakers...

Hi, newbie here. I just bought a 05 SXT stratus sedan and was wondering if my model has decent speakers in it? I know they're probably not the infinitys but do they at least have a tweeter with them? Are the tweeters only located in the holes on the dash close to the windshield? The speakers sound ok already but I want to make sure they have the frequency capablilties for my aftermarket headunit. Thanks

Edward

They should do just fine, what kind of headunit do you have?? i work at Circuit city selling car electronics.... if you are upgrading go with Eclipse... BEST sounding BY FAR for speakers and headunits... its like night and day.

I agree, for the price of the Eclipse speakers, you wont find a better deal...

Well, I only bought a pioneer headunit. So far the stock speakers are ok for me. I'm not an audiophile or anything. I couldn't afford to put systems and stereo accessories in the new car. So far I love my stratus.

your pioneer headunit was a good choice, behind eclipse i like pioneer.. and yes you will be fine with your stock speakers... you will notice a huge difference, but you will loose the center channel on the dash
You will love the stratus, i LOVE mine...

Eclipse is good stuff, but i think best Speakers for the money are by far CDT. I have the CL-61 6.5's in my stratus, they have the clearest tweeters i've ever heard. I have a JVC headunit, which is also amazing, its was realitivly cheap. If your looking for Amps also, look at the Alpine V12 series, they're the best amps i could find within a reasonable price.
