Default Lots-O-Questions

First off, Has anyone seen or heared of a full body kit for the 04 R/t body style?

Also, anyone kno who makes gauge pods for the R/T's?

Also, Turbos, what have you guys seen around for turbos for the R/T's?

Exhaust, besides customs, anyone out there make one specifically for the R/T's?

Lowering Spring besides eibach, anyone know of any others?

Who sells, the carbon fiber viper style hood or an 04 R/T?

Has anyone tried running 110 octane in thier R/T?

Anyone know who does embroidery in headrests and floormats and does a decent job?

Also the engine cover, was there ever one made for the R/T? If you look there seems to be holes for one.

Any other parts you can think of for the R/T's list them, things I might have missed to mention?

Yes, but they are very far and few between. The 01-05 R/T's are all the same car, just the front and rear bumpers have changed some. From what I've been told, the kits will interchange, but may need a little negotiating. Trying on eBaY is your best bet.

http://stores.ebay.com/Aero-Designs <-=-=-just one place to check

Also, anyone kno who makes gauge pods for the R/T's?
Don't know that they make them, but you can try yanking some from the Turbo Eclipses.

Also, Turbos, what have you guys seen around for turbos for the R/T's?
You can go to RIPP for an SC, which is a better option. Less work moving parts around and you can run stock components. If you want a turbo kit, here ya go.

http://tearstone.com/portal/index.ph...id=14&Itemid=1

This kit is designed to bolt onto the following models:

•Mitsubishi Eclipse GT/GTS (2000 ~2005)
•Dodge Stratus Coupe (2001 and newer)
•Galant ES V6 GTZ (1998 and newer)
•Chrysler Sebring Lxi (2001 and newer)

The kit cost is $4499 + $125 shipping, allow 5-6 weeks for
delivery from when your order is placed.

6G72 (v6) Eclipse Stratus R/T Sebring Galant turbo kit:

2 1/2" Downpipe
Wastegate Dump Tube (Recirculated)
2 1/2" Intercooler Tubing
3" Turbo Inlet Tube
Front Mount Intercooler (not pictured)
Turbonetics T4 Turbocharger with Polished Compressor Housing.
Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate @ 8psi
Turbonetics Raptor B.O.V.
Turbonetics Silicone Connectors
GReddy E-Manage w/ ignition harness (Pretuned with a baseline)
440cc Injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Stainless Steel Clamps
Oil Feed & Drain Systems
MAF Adapter
K&N Air Filter
B.O.V. Recirculation Hose
All Required Mounting Hardware

Kit Options:

Side Mount Intercooler Conversion + $200

Exhaust, besides customs, anyone out there make one specifically for the R/T's?
Again, there is a custom set of headers that I believe RIPP makes, but you are still looking at some serious cash. Your best bet is most likely to do it yourself.

Lowering Spring besides eibach, anyone know of any others?
I have Eibach on my car. Dont really know of any others that are decent. Havent really looked. Eibach is a sponsor on this site.

Who sells, the carbon fiber viper style hood or an 04 R/T?
I dont know that anyone sells a CF Viper hood for the 04 model. I know they do an 01-02 model at

http://www.grounddynamics.com/Templa...ubFolderId=277

Has anyone tried running 110 octane in thier R/T?
Ummm, talk to BadStratRT, altho why you would run that thru your stock internals.....

Anyone know who does embroidery in headrests and floormats and does a decent job?
Depends on what you call decent. US Speed does custom mats, and again, they are a sponsor.

Also the engine cover, was there ever one made for the R/T? If you look there seems to be holes for one.
Not that I'm aware of.

Any other parts you can think of for the R/T's list them, things I might have missed to mention?
The 3.0L engine in the R/T's is the same motor that is found in the Eclipse, Galant, and 3000GT/Dodge Stealth. You can use SOME parts from those motors....but if you want to go cheap on the turbo....find a GTS model Eclipse/GTZ Galant. They can be made to work.

My replies are in Bold:

First off, Has anyone seen or heared of a full body kit for the 04 R/t body style? no...i see that some ktis on ebay do mention the 03-04s, but i would check with them for fitment

Also, anyone kno who makes gauge pods for the R/T's? i got mine off of ebay a Long time ago...theyre expensive. when i was looking around for them, i found someone selling them for the eclipse, and when i asked if they fit, they didnt know.

Also, Turbos, what have you guys seen around for turbos for the R/T's? tearstone and ripp mods for any forced induction. turbo setups will cost more because there is alot more involved.

Exhaust, besides customs, anyone out there make one specifically for the R/T's? custom OWNS...

Lowering Spring besides eibach, anyone know of any others? there are other companies...have a look at exile racing.

Who sells, the carbon fiber viper style hood or an 04 R/T? no

Has anyone tried running 110 octane in thier R/T? there is no point to this. first off, most gasolinie with a higher octane rating than 94 is leaded, and running that in your RT will ruin all sorts of things...there is no gain to be had from putting 110 in your car.

Anyone know who does embroidery in headrests and floormats and does a decent job? check with upholstry shops.

Also the engine cover, was there ever one made for the R/T? If you look there seems to be holes for one. an engine cover...such as?

Any other parts you can think of for the R/T's list them, things I might have missed to mention?

Ive never seen an engine cover on the 3.0 at least. Really havent looked at the others. Some people get various parts painted/chromed from what i hear though.

Also is the 200hp to the crank or the wheels, and if it is to the crank what is the HP to the wheels on the R/T?

i believe that it loses about 15-20% or so to the wheels...so figure that you have about 160-170 at the wheels

Honestly not worth it 10K + cost of the car for mid 13's????? Better to spend that money on an SRT-4 and get 12's (11's if your a damn good driver) Or you NOS this **** out of you moter and get 10-15 passes before your picking connecting rod and piston parts out of your oil pan all for an high 11 second time slip? no thanks. I'll keep my fuel economy and sound mods and be content with my little strat.
