i cannot find anyone to say proof positive whether they make any difference on a 3.0. I DO know that they made a noticable performance difference on a 5.9...but they also negatively affect the charging system.
i have often considering getting them for my RT, but im to the point where im only modding the truck, the mirada, and eventually the daytona...and just saving mod money on the RT for the next car in a year or so...
Hey guys probably a really stupid ? but just wanted to check before i blew my money on it. i was thinking about getting the same thing for mine (0
4 R/T) i couldn't find any that said they were for the 04 stratus only the 04 eclipse and didn't know if the pulleys for the 03 would work or if i would need to get the ones for the eclipse

i think its the same motor for that year as i have in my 01, im not 100% pos though so dont quote me on that. maybe BadStratRT can shed some light on this

yeah, i realized that right after i submitted the question, i have an off topic question, my driver side front end is making a wierd noise, like a metal to metal, or a clicking noice, sometimes on smooth roads and over little pot holes. i had the from end looked and by my machanic a little while back and everything was tight and nothing is moving. the noise is a little worse now then it was back then. im thinking its maybe a blown strut or something. it still handles real well in corners and i dont feel anything in the wheel really, and if it were just being supported by the spring it would be a little bouncy right? just when the windows down i can hear it. could it be the strut, im realy not in the mood to take it off to see, but im going to have to. thanks
does it do it more when it is cooler out, but as the engine bay heats up, it gets quieter?
if you put the car in gear, and bring up the rpms while holding the brakes, will it make the noise? if so, i would say that, like every other stratus coupe, your motor mounts are noisy. this sound would almost seem to come from the firewall, when youre in the car. mine was REALLY noisy, until i replaced the front and rear mounts, then it was only noisy when its cold out..i havent gotten around the replacing the trans mount yet, as that seems to be the problem.

well it only makes the noise when im moving, i have even heard it when i was in a drive through at like mcdonalds moving real slow. I have even heard it when i came to a stop, a little click. loud enough to heard by anyone in the car. makes it in forward and reverse. so wierd
