Hi I'm new here just got my stratus. Was just wondering if the 2000 pt cruiser 2.4l is the same as the 2000 stratus 2.4l engine? I wanting to know cause if I buy the headers for a 00 pt cruiser if it'll fit on my 00 stratus 2.4l? thanks for the help. and hope to hear from you guys soon.

 

If your running the Stratus Sedan, I believe the 2.4l is the Chrysler made EDZ, and the same engine used in the PT..

The Coupe used the Mitsubishi 4G64, and should be significantly different.

actually that helps alot. but if anyone knows for sure. That obviously would be best. I think they are though

 

the 2.4 is the same across the line(however the turbo motors are slightly revised from the n/a motors) so the manifold should bolt up to the motor, but i couldn't tell you weather or not the down pipe will bolt up or if there will be clearance issues.
