Sort of a costly mistake, I'd say. I got my '01 Viper for $49,500 with 9,100 miles from a private owner who couldnt drive it because his new neighborhood had too many speed bumps of all things. I suppose this is a very good example of "one mans loss is anothers gain". Otherwise, I would never be able to afford a $90k or even a $70k car. And even if I could I'd never get to see it because the wife would have shot me...

You're lucky to get one with low milage for that cost. One on ebay or at an auction would easily go for 60K. Tommy, you might also want to post this on the viperclub.org (VCA) website. Most of the Viper owners are there.

Actually it is brand new and never sold to anybody. I didn't buy one for 79K. I just thought if someone wanted a great deal on one, I would pass it along.

I don't have a membership to the Viper club. I did email every regional president though.

Definately. It's not like it can still make an ubernormous profit like the GT from ridiculous ripoffs....

Actually, if I get a customer that wants to buy it, I will call my Dodge rep and they will ship the car to me. It is an unsold factory built car. It just hasn't been assigned to a dealer for inventory. I have ZERO risk.
