Looking at the picture on your computer - Easier to see
I got a call from my Attorney, hes a big chevy guy, he boasted about the new Z06 beat the Viper all the way around in the C&D face off. I went and got the magazine and also looked at Motor Trend, their results were the same the Z06 flat whipped the Viper. I understand the Zo6 has titanium rods and higher compression and so on, but it doesnt matter, its what each produced, and Chevy did it with 1.2 liters less.
I hate giving in to anything, but this time Dodge got whooped. Now what was telling is Dodge has the higher claimed h.p., but the dyno showed it less than the Chevy, so is Dodge overstating the real numbers? This is like when the 24V Cummins came out, the 12V lost about 15% to the driveline, but the 24V which was rated as more h.p. was losing 30% to the driveline.... Sounds like Dodge is chocking off the engine when it goes into the car. They better pull their head out, the Vette is cheaper, faster, better braking, and more civil for daily driving and is 20K less. Brand loyalty will only go so far.
