Default Door locks

Stupid question just being proactive though. If my key fob stops working how can i open the doors? Is there a release in the trunk or something?

You can replace the batteries.

This may be helpful, I found this for you on another site......

Sounds like you're in "sleep mode", which means you won't be able to use the fobs until you get into the car using the below procedures:

Use the key to unlock the door in the hidden location below the side bulge. (Don't worry, it's going to feel like you'll break the key if you turn any harder... just turn!)

Then.... use the key to turn the ignition, and that'll get it out of sleep mode.

Fobs will work as usual after that.

Try pushing in hard on the door near the handle when turning the key in the scallop. It's a little tricky at first, and always requires that you push in the door, but it is mechanical and it will work.

Thanks for the help. Pushing on the door as I turned the key was the trick. I was afraid of breaking off the key when I tried it before. I did have to jump the battery to get it started, thanks again

Oh yea, welcome, always nice to have another Viper owner here. Post some pics in the gallery so I can nominate you for Ride of the Month sometime.
