The weather is starting to get nice here in WV. Haven't had my Viper out since November. I wanted to get my spring oil change out of the way, and I wanted to try something different. The royal purple looked well recomemded, so I'm thinking about trying it.

I just put a Fram on my Viper this winter It only filters for about 300-500 miles. I do not put many miles on it.

My SRT-10 Ram is going to get a M1 filter this weekend though. M1 filters rater pretty high.

I'll probably give the fram a try. I don't put much mileage on mine either. I got her new in April of 05 and I just didhit 4000 miles. But you say dont run the fram much more than a 1000 miles?

Tests have shown the fram does not filter as well. But as I said I do not drive it enough to get "dirty".

I did my truck today, the M1 part # is M1-204 for all years.
