I am still running the stock 3.92's that came with the truck.

 

Thats not that bad a gear ratio, imo I went too ohio with plenty of pull and go.I would assume 4.57's would blow a lot of fuel out the pipes. i dunno not my area of expertise.

 

My plan is to stick with the stock gears for now and then when I finish a couple o other mods reevaluate whether I need gears or not. I am just worried about traction issues off the line if I go to 4.56 gears.

 

On another subject, Has there been any improvement on the paint jobs from the factory? I seen quite a few acid rain victims recently, Starting too make me wonder if a trip to the body shop would be a great investment. I haven't a clue on how well the stock paint holds up. My truck is getting on five years. Any thoughts ??

 

i get my gears friday and install tuesday or wed hope fully i make til then...

 

isnt 4.10 the best for drag times?? not sure if going up that little is worth it.

 

my newest toy- 06 rmz450f and might i add , it looked damn good in the back of my truck (didnt get any pics to excited to ride it). so any more truck parts is out of the question. spent most of my money on this(i have no job either) and of course its getting blacked out ..hopefully

 

i had some curb rash over the weekend and bottomed out going over a speed bump with costco stuff in the back. So i decided to raise my truck up.
