got my gears ordered got a good deal off dt from a guy selling his new never installed stuff great deal though now i need synthetic fluid and install after i recieve em i hope i have them by next thursday....

How much are they charging you for the install?

 

250 install 225 for the gears and master install kit...

 

That price for an install is pretty sweet. Around here they want a fortune for an install.

 

over 35 yrs of experience for trans and gears, does gen auto too but specializes in gears and trans and turns out drag cars mostly highly recommended by a local speed shop and a guy i know....

 

So you supply the syn lube? Might I suggest valvoline full synthetic. It's half the price of rp, and mobil one. I put it my rear, let me rephrase that. I have it in the pumpkin of my truck. I also have it in the fronts. Check and see what color rvt they use. Mine had the high heat, I used the blue I was wondering what this shop, wwould prefer? Thanks Jjay. that is a great deal Jay, I am looking at about 1200 just for the parts, but I am going to do the DTT at the same time.

 

yeah i wish i could throw a dtt or auburn at it too but i just cant...hopefully my stocker holds up if it last me another yr when i get my career job going then w/e hits the fan after that w/e ill fix it right then....being in school and living off what little income i have plus the wifes salary we do pretty good still even though its not like when i made good money working....of course its tougher...but we make it...
