hmm well Ive never seen anything like what he was doing. He had to of posted 30 threads within one day.

And Okla, I dont know whats going on. There are 32 votes out of like 100k members

 

100k members is misleading, there has been over 150,000 people register since the forum went online, but you have to remember that this forum serves EVERY Dodge product and the OTM you are talking about currently is confined to the 3rd Gen Ram section (although anybody who has registered over 30 days ago and has made 50 posts can vote).

Last I took a real hard look at it, current ACTIVE members in 3rd Gen (I consider active as someone who has logged in twice in the last 30 days) is about 500 people. But yeah, I'd say only getting 40-50 votes out of even that kinda turnout is pretty sad.

Even when the entire forum participated in one big OTM the turnout was declining over the last year or so we've had it. I remember first time I was up for TOTM, I lost to a Diesel Ram 4x4 by like 3 votes and the totals were something like 194-191! and the third truck in the mix had like 50 votes. That's what almost 450 votes? We ain't had turn outs like that in almost three years YET active membership is actually higher now...

 

yea...ive noticed we have had a slowing of active members yet a big increase in new member threads. I dont mind it but we need the experienced guys also
