Hey guys I'm new here I'd like to join the black truck club. I have a question as well. I'm about to put 26's on my truck, anyone have any suggestions on what lowering kit to use. I don't want to bag it or anything just want that nice lowered look.
here is the truck now on 22's

lol. Thank you. I don't know if you can crank down the torsion bars on the 02 or not. I will do a little research and find out. I'm going to wait until I get the rims on there before I mess with it though, so I can see where I want it. I have drop shackles on the rear an didn't even notice a difference afterward. I kinda felt like I wasted $120. I was looking at some pics online and saw a ram on 26's with a 2/4 drop on it. It looked like the look I am going for. So the OP is on a LOA. I guess I'll just wait for him to get back, I'm not going to just grab a number into something I was not invited in. I will keep posting here though. Gonna put this in the shop next week and get some paint work done, and when it's done being buffed I'm going to hit the road and go to texas. If anyone wants some rims at a value here is a number for you 972-523-7014.
Wheels Outlet located in Grand Prairie Texas. 24's with tires $1500, 26's with tires $2,000. Came across this place while i was at a school for the guard in texas. Haven't found anyone to beat their prices yet. Here in Arkansas a set of 24's will run you 1900 starting out, and they go up to 3G's. So it's worth the 500 mile trip for me.
Just read your part about debadging, I think I'm going to do that next week anyways when it's in the shop.

Cool, I'm happy with my twenties. but There are quite a few others I'm sure will be interested in those prices......I may be entering a auto show, I kinda doubt it, maybe my fat bob, It's a bike/auto show. So like an idiot I tossed my hat into the ring,as it were, with my truck....lol. Guess I'm waiting on an e-mail now.....
