YOU GOT IT!!! ha.haa..haaa! *"hey, everyone", I have a question....like all the "good" guys here on DF,...we're all pretty much mechanically inclined,..do our own work,..and "REALLY" don't need anybody elses help in making our daily life decisions....but it's nice to get input from intelligent, fellow truck enthusiasts who have brains on their shoulders,...[don't worry lb79theone....we like you anyways..ha!], my query is this: I'm already sick of the cold, early mornings here, (-22*F...that's -31*Celsius here with the wind chill), I'm looking to get,..installed next week on Tuesday...pay day, a combination remote car[truck] starter/alarm system. I'm looking to spend around $300-$450 installed,....any brands come to mind?

You can never go wrong with viper and you should easily be able to stay within budget.

Right on,..and welcome to DF and our own BTC. I was actually looking at the "Viper" system. On a different "mod" note,...I'm logging off for an hour to go make my final payment and pick up my winter "knobby" tires. A bit skinnier to help traction/steering control, (245/75-R-16's...I have 265's on her now), not much skinnier...but the tread is pretty grippy,..we're supposed to be in for a long, cold snow filled winter this year...I think it's the same story every where that gets snow!....damn "greenhouse" effect! I'll post sum quick pics when I get back. *[tried twice??? It won't take my pic on the edit????..anyways,..245/75-R-16 Dunlop Radial MudRovers.
