Count me in! I have a 2002 3rd gen quad cab short bed slt 4x4 5.9 with the 46RE found the jewel at my local junk yard and they didnt know anything about it....so after I did some research I found out it was a title loan repo and it had ran good prior to the auction house picking it up with the forklift and bending the driveshaft and cracking the overdrive extension housing...but it had a clean title so I took the plunge and paid 1,110$ after tax and title for it drove it home and called my local transmission shop to order the extension housing for 150$ and had my buddy that has his own machine shop build me a driveshaft for 60$ I've had no problems with it since. Other than my 11 mpg average but whoever owned it previously took very good care of it because it had been repainted and had a good leveling kit on it with dodge 20" chrome wheels wrapped in copper discover A/TP . I lucked out with this truck...I've had someone offer me 5500 for it and turned it down...I'll have this truck forever.
Hemi blew up... I have a 96 5.9 w136kthen another 5.9 with only 54k miles.... I need some serious questions answered... the 04 4 door 4x4 has 5.7 hemi an a 545re trans I think... motors shot an I’m trading a 06 VW for it an a 5.9 360V8.... how hard is that swap going to be? Bolt pattern the same on the trans? Will all the wiring needed to be changed? Need a guru or two cause this going to be a long process.
Well I have been working on this truck for a while ,doing a total redo from top to bottom, was a mess and it is taking a ton of time,and money ,just figuring out which direction to go to eliminate the problems in a systematic way. I hope to get some pics online to show the rework and mods
01 Durango SLT 4wd and (I hate metric measure) with a Magnum 360!
have had 6+ years, just turned 260,000 miles..... just replaced original 360 with one that only has 136K on it, when I had 258,470 miles..... with another 360.
is #360 still available?
Our other ride (Wifes) just happens to be a 99 Durango with a 5.9 and 3.91 posi if that counts...Opp's edit... Just noticed the Ram part.

Help I have a 2002 5.9L v8 ram and It needs a new transmission. I know NOTHING about this truck. I am in my last year in highschool and I want to fix up my truck because I plan on keeping it for the rest of my life. I just need a new transmission but I know nothing about it. can someone help me?
