Im at home I was 3 blocks away from my house I called up a buddy to come tow Red home I got a fass ordered... it will be here on Tuesday

 

Had some time. Bought some red DupliColor. Added a splash or two of color to the dull black interior.

 

looks real sharp.
does duplicolor have the color matched? by the code in the glovebox
i want to do the same thing in mine.
what grit u use? how many coats?

Thanks! I did not actually look at the code. I know my truck is Flame Red and DupliColor has a Flame Red. I bought the paint and supplies at AutoZone and they have a DupliColor paint code book by vehicle and year.

The bottom piece I painted pops right off, no screws. The piece around the gauges removes easy as well. Just pop off the piece that has the headlight switch and remove the two screws in the top of the trim piece. If you have an automatic, you will need to move the gear selector to the lowest position to make removal simpler.

 

Thanks Jim! I tackled some of the inside stuff first to practice for painting the stock gray pieces on the exterior.
