Well, I had to take my Jeep hunting this year. Truck is parked. Bad tie rod end. Good 1.25" of play in it and no way was I taking it 360 miles each way with that much play. Tie rod is supposed to be a big, beefy one which is part of my lift kit.
Anyway, since it's not a Mopar part, I called 4 Wheel Parts (where I bought the lift kit) and they can't get it. So now I got a call into Rancho. Hopefully when I get home from this hunting/fishing trip next week I can have a tie rod end there to install...

Well the bad news is I had to call Rancho to hunt down a tie rod end since the tie rod is a part of the lift kit.
The good news is Rancho sent me not just one tie rod end for the bad one, but TWO so I could replace both FREE OF CHARGE - five years after the kit went on!
Installed them and went and had an alignment done, total cost to me was $63. Drives like a champ again...
