You talking about LKQ in Clayton or is there another one around here? I'm only an hour south of you.
Meanwhite, I found one for 200$ if the guy still has it.

Gotcha. Thats probably for the better anyways. You never really can be sure what your getting out there and it would be a real PITA to pull a transfer case since you aren't allowed to take a jack into the yard, and then have it end up being bad. Although rebuilding them is easy, but you'd be back around that $300 mark when your done.
I was actually just there today though and they had a handful of Rams, but I didn't get under any of them to see if they had transfer cases.
On an unrelated note, my SAS came to a screeching halt a few days ago.
The whole reason I wanted to use a late '70s ford axle with radius arms is because I've seen it done twice on other gen 1 dakotas and I had found one for cheap. Well apparently there is something different between my '76 axle and the '79 axles the other two people used, cause the distance between the radius arm brackets on mine is 4 inches narrower than the frame rails!!!! So I went back to the drawing board and decided I'm going with a 3 link front. But I left the front alone for now and I'm working on getting the 14 bolt in the rear. When that's in I'll get back to the front.
The bad part is, I'm going to be pressed to have it finished and functional for the meet in April. I'll try to get it done though!

Man, the two tallest trucks might not be able to make it and now we have a 3rd genner on the list of getting boned out of a good time at uwharrie.
318, what do you have to do to get done with the truck? If you need a hand then I could help, depending on when you're working on it. My schedule leaves a lot of days open between now and the 17th.
