It must be the Trac-lok then, cause that was the factory limited slip differential. I was just going to say that if you're going to go through the trouble of changing gears, while you're in there you should replace the clutch packs in the differential with new ones!

 

see i keep hearing people talking about that, i dont know where to find those summit doesnt seem to have them, are they part of the installation kit for the ring and pinion cause i would prolly get one of those as well

 

Yeah, you'll need a ring and pinion install kit, but they don't come with it.

ok guys, im not so down for a drag strip setting. not with my truck

but when you guys want to get together, 4wd is my only goal. and by the way, for all you jacksonville guys. come out to the mud races in new port. ill be hopefully competing in the bog for big tire street class. i need some support.

and 95, those 4.10 and 37's, with your 5.2 wont be to worrible bad. wont be power packed, but youll be able to cruise down the road at about 55-60 at like 1500K to 1700K... trust me, i have a 93 dakota motor in my truck, D60s with 4.10's and my 37X12.50..

 

I know you and several of us dont have speed trucks, BUT we cant always do offroad stuff, there are more street trucks than offroad trucks. so we have to have a GTg that can include the 2wd guys as well

Yea I woulda been at uwharrie if I didn't have these dumb street tires they r awesome but I want something I can take off road. My next set will prolly be a set of terra grapplers that are a little bigger so I can get back some of this ride I lost with these bigger rims
