Got all my factory speakers out and some new pioneers in their place. I know alot of folks don't like Wal-Mart stuff, but pioneer makes some awesome after market speakers for CHEAP at Wally world. I've put in high end tweets by kicker and RF and the pioneers are just as good for half the cost. Also got my new cd player installed as well. Once I got done with that I put a helluva buff on with some 3M swirl remover to try and get rid of the swirls in my clearcoat. It helped, but I think it's gonna take a professional. Whoever had this truck before me did not take good care of the clear coat.

Been browsing online for some amps/subs/box. I like good sound....but I don't need to be heard a mile away lol....my straights do well enough in that department. Busy day today!

Fastman TB will be on it's way next week!

as for clear coat i went to auto zone and bought some duplicolor clear coat rattle can. it will be less noticeable on your white paint than my black.

thing about the rattle can though is its got fish egg oil... which keeps the paint from drying in a can... after a year or so of driving the paint will never fully settle and it will leave ripples

experiences on my carbon fiber hood on my cougar after i redid the clear coat myself

KRC Performance if you want anything over the HO cams...

I've got the HO's in my Grand Cherokee, along with a plethora of other upgrades that they put in the 4.7 HO in the Overland package. I know I have yet to not walk away from anything with just the stock 4.7 in it, even much lighter vehicles...

Here is a good list of what's in the HO version, most if not all of these components are available from MOPAR and many of them are surprisingly inexpensive:

http://www.wjjeeps.com/ho_engine.htm

There are basically 16 "performance upgrades" that the HO has over the standard 4.7, these include:

1) Detonation sensors bosses in the block
2) Custom profile camshafts
3) Connecting Rods w/floating wrist pins (vs. press fits in the standard 4.7)
4) Forged crankshaft (vs. cast in the standard 4.7)
5) Crankshaft damper
6) Improved cylinder heads
7) Over-sized, high flow fuel injectors
8) Improved intake manifold
9) Lower restriction air intake (basically a CAI)
10) Knock sensors
11) Tri-metal main bearings
12) Custom tuned PCM (to optimize the other improvements)
13) Domed pistons
14) Platinum tipped plugs
15) Improved exhaust valves
16) Upgraded, stronger valve springs

Also, they don't list it, but it has a different exhaust manifold design, actually looks more like shorty headers than a manifold...
