bear?....so i had a lil doe to play with figured i would spend it on the truck...well i kinda did...bought my first i-pod(touch) and ill be using it in the truck but its a multipurpose item....will get to the efan soon and some other small stuff....

yea i got the iphone 3g and i dont even use that as a phone anymore i just use it for mp3 player aaaaand my phone that ipod touch pays for itself definately...good purchase

Good buy on the touch. Im soooo out of the loop with all these new fancy gadgets. Just haven't had the dough to indulge in the stuff really. Hell, Im prolly one of the few without a plasma/lcd tv. But thats just because I chose to go with the 61" over the 52" plasma And my truck takes up any little bit of play money I get. I wanna get a gaspowered R/C truck, buuuuut $300 can buy a lot for the rig, haha.

 

haha yea i feel that bear... i really dont even kno how the hell some people get these 6inch suspension lifts they r like 1,600$ i guess they r rollin in the doe cuz my *** is rollin in bills

hell i wish i could load me up a 6in lift with some 35's **** would be a beast

 

Well, theres a couple good reasons why I can't afford to have more play money........WE"RE STUPID!!! We being my wife and I. We just piled up too much debt at a young age. Bought our house when we were 20. Ran up credit cards, refinanced the house.....twice......ran up the cards again. Ya know, dumb ****. And Im in a job that is strictly seasonal. I make damn good hourly, just dont make sht weekly, I haven't seen 40hrs total since December! Thank goodness the ol lady brings home the bacon, we'd be in some real trouble.

But, we're still young'ns. Live n learn. Glad we got all that **** out the way before the anklebiters came along. I can def wait a few more years for that, haha!

 

Yeah, that's what stops me. Hell, if I didn't have kids, **** my truck would look like mmastar's truck. I'd also have a house probably damn near paid for. Plus that I have my truck payment, insurance, phone god I could go on for hours listing all the d@mn bills. Not to knock anyone and not to offend anyone, but I'm sure a lot of people have mom's or dad's that buy the vehicle. So that kinda takes a **** ton of burden off and there you have more mod money.

 

isnt that the truth jon...mom and dad...wish that was my case ...im sure some have really good jobs but when i get outta school at the ripe old age i will be i will be making pretty damn good money...if i didnt have a 8yr old and a wedding in may i would def have more done to my truck....hell if i hadnt lost my job in oct id have more done....but then i wouldnt be back in school getting a good edumacation...and learning the electronics that i am for a real good paying career not just a jobby job....but i cant say i have alot i need a new tv too got a old projection and a few crt tvs but hey id rather be on my quad core pc than watch tv anyway.......and the pod was a lil treat to myself everyone in my house had one but me...

But MMstar has Mommy and Daddy to pay ALL his bills: rent, insurance, everything, from what I gathered in some of his posts. He just pays for his truck and his mods.... Must be nice,

Dont get me wrong, my ol man has helped me out in the past when things have gotten tight, but he has always gotten paid back every dime. Havent stuck my hand out for a couple years now....

Im proud to say Ive worked for everything I have. When we bought our house, he put down 10gs, cash, so we could do the deal without bringing tax records and **** in. The next week, I went and took a loan out on my Jeep, handed him that 10k check. Now, of course, I wish I didn't have a lot of the things I do, cause work has ceased. But....like I said, live and learn. Credit is the WORST thing someone can have, haha. Gets you in trouble, boy do I know...
