2003 Rams - The Forgotten Club
Cank,
Did you figure out which wire to cut? Part of the problem is that many of us have the 5.7 engine and are not familar with the 4.7 configuration. Hope you get iy sorted, it is worth the effort.

Nope I am scared to cut that wire on the 4th plug down :-). I'll man up soon. I did get the Sonnax line pressure booster in the mail today so I am excited to see how that does
Hey Guys been a while! Cank are you still tryin to do the TMR delete on your 4.7L?
If so it looks way different and I wouldn't screw with it. The Line Pressure Boost Mod should do ya well.
Got my Ported Throttle Body installed last week. So Far so Good!

Oh, and welcome to all the new Forgotten Members. I'll try and be in here more often as my Gears should be done soon and I have a little treat for Ya'll in the new Year.
Later.

I think this is an important mod on our trucks since we have little else. I looked at the manual and looks like it calls out the YL/DG wire. On the NGC PCM module plug C4. I would locate the wire. Disconnect the battery. Strip back about four inches and cut the wire, fold back the ends and put some shrink on them. Reconnect the battery and take it for a drive. If everything is good, tidy up the wires and enjoy. If there is a problem. Disconnect the battery and solder the wire back together and use some heat shrink to finsh it up. Reconnect the battery and be on your way. IMO, this mod is worth doing.

Greg, I posted up a Thread called, "Warm Shop" and in there just for you a Pic of the Idle after warm up with the new TB...approx 625. and also mentioned I didn't have a chance to hook up the vacuum guage or look at the pwr steering connector. Anyways have a look on the other forum.
