Default Need Advice On Fluid Leak

I'm glad I found this forum. I have a bunch of questions about some work I had done on my truck. I'll ask the other questions in another post and I hope someone can give me some advice on how to handle the dealer who worked on my truck. I had the front axle joints replaced and now there is fluid leaking from the right front axle. I brought it back to the dealer and they told me the tech overfilled the front differential fluid after he completed the differential service. He said he corrected the fluid level. It still leaks. Isn't there a seal in the axle? Could he have damaged it when he replaced the u-joints?

Default RE: Need Advice On Fluid Leak

If its a 4x4 yes. the seal inside the axle tubes. The front diff would need to come out and so do the axles. Maybe they don't have the tools to replace them. Also ask the dealer if the techs work on a flat rate system. That maybe another reason they don't want to replace the seals. Warranty doesn't pay much. But they need take of customers or it won't be long before the door closes.
