24 valve coolant leak

I have a '99 Ram 2500 24 valve with 85K miles, and I noticed coolant leaking from what appears to be the head gasket. The leak is directly under the thermostat housing.Does anyone know if this is a common problem and if sohow to repair it?

i havent had too many 5.9l diesels leak from the headgasket. are you certain its from under the tstat housing. i usually have water pumps leak more than anything.
