Default Body control module reset

The Body Control module went out causing all kinds of problems on my 99 stratus. I took it in and they replaced it with a used one, well then my odometer read the other cars odometer reading of 147k and my car only had 43k when I had taken it in. The co. that put it forgot to write down the milage, but to set it back to an app would be illegal. But since the body control module was going in and out the milage was not accurate when we took it in they said it would be illegal for them to set it back, they also didn't know how to. I called the state trooper office they said there is nothing I could do. Is there a way to reset the odometer because this really dropped the value of my car which I may sell soon. Thanks.

The current milage is s stored in the PCM also...
A dealership will install a new BCM with the proper milage "Burned in"

So If I take it to the dealer they will know the correct milage by the PCM and be able to reset it? Thanks for the reply.
