I just drop it off at a local service station that does state inspections. I don't know if the same holds true in other states, but in PA, if any facility that is licensed to perform state inspections must take your used oil for free and dispose of it properly. Don't ask a station owner if this is true or not though, because they'll most likey tell you it's not even if it is. Many of these places hate taking used oil, becuase they have to pay to get rid of it. Stop at the local police station or look online to see if this is the case for your state.
at home I go to autozone or pep boys but if i am up at school we just collect all fluids in 5 gallon buckets and then once we get about 35 gallons of it we will use it on a bon fire.

RE: used oil?
I filter it through some rolls of toilet paper and then add some STP.....I'm gonna get my money's worth out of these new-fangled synthetic oils!!!!!![sm=smiley36.gif]
