RE: 12V Wiring - What Advice You Got?
When I rewired my '48 Studebaker, I bought a pack of the "yellow" eye connectors, (I dont know if you are aware of this but the different color on the connectors are for different gauge wires) from the local supply house a box of 50 was about $12, and a pack of shrink wrap 12 pack for $5. The wire 10ga cost me about$.50 a lf. I found the best wayto make a tight connection is to pull theplastic from the bottom of of the connector put the shrink wrap over the wire, insert the connector, solder the connection, let cool and cover with shrink wrap.

For crimp connectors, terminal connectors, etc. little stuff like that i usually have enough of that in my tool bag from various jobs. Butif i need alot of something i go to the closest auto store (O'Riely) or even closer--Fleet Farm. Depends on what i need. They have fair prices on most of their stuff.I actually just got done installing a tachometer with a 7 Color LED control module on my Motorcycle, and got all the stuff i needed (18 awg cu wire, tape, crimp&terminal connectors, etc.) and some stuff i didnt need (new dc circuit tester, spark plug gap guide) atO'Riely, i got alot of stuff for under $20.
