Default Oil Pressure gauge or pump?

OK guys and girls i need your help. I have a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab with the 5.2L 318. I was recently drivng it and i noticed that when i came to a stop and the truck started to idle the oil pressure would drop to about 30 PSI. Then when you get on the gas it goes back up to normal operating pressure. I took it to the dealer so they could fix it. The dealer put in a new oil pressure switch and said that it worked fine. Well the day i picked it up the gauge started doing the same thing only worse, now it won't even reach the correct PSI when driving and it will drop to about 20 PSI when at idle. My question is, do you think the new oil pressure switch is bad, is it the gauge itself, or is it the pump? Please help me, any input will be helpful.
