Check Autozone. I get all my stuff from Jegs or Autozone. Most K&N replacement filters are in the $35-$45 range.

Yeah, the prices are pretty high and you're not going to find any major discounts, but then it's a quality product...ya gets what ya pay for...

And don't forget, they never need to be replaced, just cleaned and reoiled once in a great while, every couple years or so.

yeah, they are definitely worth the $40 - $60 range..you'd pay that by changing the stock filter every other oil change or so within a year, and you wouldn't get the extra benefit of a couple horses and a little gas.
