Because of the weight, I'd bet any savings on Ebay would be offset by the shipping charges... UPS ain't cheap...best bet is probably the salvage/junk yard....[sm=smiley23.gif]

There aren't too many pick and pull type of places around here anymore... the one's that are, are just as expensive as a parts place.

Other cars with that engine are... Sundance, Duster, Shadow, Acclaim, 95 and older Mini Vans, Lebaron... and a few others. I can't say for sure if they all have a 75 watt amp, but it's worth a shot.

easiest way is to have your current one rebuilt... you can have a company rebuild your alternator for less than napa can sell you a re-maned... I paid $100 for a complete rebuild on my tbird's 75amp... and that includes upping the amps to 200... so..... much cheaper... let me know where you are and I might be able to help.

I would recommend contacting your local parts dealer, and ask them if they can point out what other places that alternator is used....I used to work in a parts store and they CAN do it...just need to find someone that will do it for ya....in most cases....the 75amp alt will be on the vehicles with more accessories....the more common one i believe is the 60 amp....75 is considered HD at that point....i would drop the 50 at the junk yard and be done....what is your time worth? I know mine is worth too much to waste alot of time....that is how i look at it....just my .02...

~not meant to offend...but to help...please remember tip the help....we most likely need it~
